FDA approves fall Covid shots, but with new restrictions

The Food and Drug Administration has approved the next Covid Firing Cycle for the fall – but only for a smaller and high -risk group of people, the Secretary of Health and Social Services said on Wednesday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Updated coated shots are approved for adults 65 and over as well as for children and adults with at least one medical condition that puts them at risk of serious illness.
Kennedy announced the approval of a position on X.
“The FDA has now issued a marketing authorization for people at higher risks: modern (6+ months), Pfizer (5+) and Novavax (12+),” wrote Kennedy. “These vaccines are available for all patients who choose them after consulting their doctors.”
The approval should go to the Consultative Committee for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which will make a recommendation on who should be able to obtain the blows.
The new restrictions – which were expected – probably affect what insurers cover for people who are not eligible for the updated counsel.
Before this change, the CDC recommended coastal photos for every 6 months and more.
Covid shooting can cost up to $ 140 without insurance, according to the price list of CDC vaccines.
