Not all Legion Go S models cost nearly double what they used to cost, but none are close to what they originally cost. The Windows Z1 Extreme model is now listed for $1,679.99, although it is “on sale” for $1,049.99. (B&H has it for $1,299.99.)

Lenovo didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment, but I suspect the company is quietly removing this version in the face of RAMageddon. Many listings for different versions of the handheld have disappeared entirely from retailers and Lenovo’s website.

Maybe Lenovo has a newer version coming? The company’s website is already starting to call it “Lenovo Legion Go S Gen 1”, according to Google:

Asus rep Anthony Spence told me earlier this month that there are “no price increases on the horizon, as far as I know,” for the Xbox Ally X in the United States. He says that’s still true today.
