Fetterman Shares Study of ‘Left-Wing Terrorism’ Reaching 30-Year High
Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) shared a study which showed that left terrorism had reached a “30-year summit” and criticized the Democrats for having used a rhetoric such as “Hitler” or “fascist”.
In a job On X, Fetterman included a screenshot of an Axios article entitled “Study: left terrorism climbs to 30 years”. Fetterman noted that “political violence is still wrong” and has called for everyone to “lower the temperature”.
“Unsconscious extreme rhetoric, such as labels like Hitler or Fascist, foment more extreme results,” said Fetterman. “Political violence is always wrong – no exception.”
“We all have to lower the temperature,” added Fetterman.
By Axios, the search for the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) revealed that during the “first six months of 2025”, the far -right violence, which was generally “more frequent”, had decreased significantly.
The CSIs “compiled and analyzed a set of data of 750 interior attacks and plots” which had occurred between January 1, 1994 and July 4, 2025. The researchers discovered that the attacks which occurred since 2016, the “left extremists” were responsible for more than 40 of these attacks, while the extremists with right wings were responsible for 152 attacks “during the same period”.
• The data has shown that left -wing extremists have led 41 attacks since 2016, against 152 from the far right over the same period.
• Left violence has killed 13 people in the last decade – much less than the 112 dead after right and 82 jihadists.
• But at least five plots or attacks on the left have already been recorded this year, compared to a single right attack.
The study comes after the founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, was assassinated on September 10, while he participated in a question and answer event with students from Utah Valley University.
Breitbart News reported that the Governor of Utah Spencer Cox (R) revealed that “Sweeds in the Rifle” that the alleged assassin Kirk used “was engraved” with messages comprising “hey fascist! Catch! “
In the aftermath of Kirk’s assassination, Democrats such as California Governor Gavin Newsom continued to attack Trump administration officials, such as the Deputy Chief of the White House, Stephen Miller, as a “fascist”.
