The friendly match between Egypt and Saudi Arabia is under threat due to recent strikes in Iran.
The Pharaohs are expected to attend a training camp ahead of the 2026 World Cup in Doha, Qatar, in late March. There, they will face Saudi Arabia on March 26, followed by Spain on March 30.

The holding of these two matches is, however, uncertain due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, particularly in Doha, which is the target of Iranian strikes on American military bases in the region.
According to Saudi media, the possibility of moving the Egypt – Saudi Arabia match to Cairo is under discussion. A final decision will be made in due course.
A third friendly match is planned against Brazil in June to continue preparation for the 2026 World Cup. In the global competition, the Pharaohs will compete in Group G alongside Belgium, New Zealand and Iran.
