Finding Recently Saved Photos on My iPhone Is Much Easier With This One Change

Apple announced during its global conference for developers on June 9 that the next version of the iPhone operating system would be called iOS 26, and it will bring many new features to your iPhone in the fall, such as a Transparent glass design On icons and menus and interfaces redesigned for camera and photos applications. But when Apple released iOS 18 in September, it made a simple change in the photos to facilitate the search for recently recorded photos, whatever they were taken. The change sits your photos when they were added to the photos, not by the moment the photo was taken, and it saved me so much time looking for photos.

Before, if someone sent me a photo and I saved it, the photo would be placed in the chronological order – on the basis of the moment when the photo was taken – alongside all my other photos by default. So, if a family member sent me a photo last summer and I saved it, the photo would be lost in a sea of other shots of the past year.
I scroll hundreds of photos and videos to find it, and sometimes I would give up. But there is a rocking in the photos called Sort by recently added This allows you to sort your photos according to the moment they have been saved on your device, not when they were taken.
Here’s how to sort your photos when saved in photos so that you no longer lose a photo.
How to sort your photos according to the moment they were saved
1 and 1 Open Photos.
2 Scroll your photos until the grid occupies your whole screen.
3 and 3 Press the arrows from top to bottom in the lower left corner of your screen.
4 Faucet Sort by recently added.
Once you have exploited this option, you can see your photos move to adjust yourself to the modification of the setting. Your most recently saved or taken photo will now be at the bottom of the grid, even if it was your wedding years ago.
