Black Friday The bonanza of streaming offers is over. But the holiday streaming deals continue in December, and some of the December deals are better than the one I signed up for in November. Buyer’s remorse is forever, but this time it’s also reversible.
December’s best streaming deals are ad-free. That’s not an incredibly low number, but you can get a 4K, ad-free streaming bundle from HBO Max, Disney+, and Hulu for $33. That’s over 40% off, or $23 less than the list price. But most importantly: no advertising.
In fact, I’m planning to upgrade to the ad-free plan. Because it turns out I don’t like commercials. No publicity means no regrets when the climactic scene in an old Country The episode is kidnapped by a discount car insurance company, instead of the one who was supposed to commit the kidnapping. That said, the ad-supported HBO/Disney package also gets a 40% discount. The same goes for a number of other bundles, including an Apple TV/Peacock bundle that will let you stream NFC playoff and Super Bowl games for little more than the price of the Apple TV alone.
