This is the chilling moment fellow inmates threatened to kill former French President Nicolas Sarkozy on the day he arrived in prison.

The other prisoners reportedly try to keep Sarkozy awake all night in his cell, whose window overlooks the prison courtyard.

Carla Bruni, Sarkozy’s third wife, once spoke to him on the phone in prison, Sarkozy’s lawyers confirmed.

He was incarcerated in the notorious prison at 9:40 a.m., while other inmates mocked him by chanting “Welcome Sarko!” and “Sarkozy is here!” “.
Sarkozy was convicted of accepting millions in illegal cash from Gaddafi in order to win power for five years, between 2007 and 2012.
