Florida AG Uthmeier Coming Hard After JPMorgan Chase Over Insidious Effort to Debank Conservatives – RedState
I attended Eric Trump’s event at the Reagan Library in late October as part of his book tour detailing the treacherous efforts leftists have made to destroy him, his father, and the Trump family business with endless lawsuits. The tome, Under Siege: My Family’s Fight to Save Our Nation, reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list – probably much to the chagrin of the Gray Lady.
One of the things that struck me in his speech was when he explained how virtually every major bank “unbanked” the Trump Organization, and they were forced to turn to crypto to even continue operating. Imagine if your bank suddenly asked you to take a hike, froze your accounts, and left you to fend for yourself. That would be difficult enough for an individual, but in the high-stakes business world, it could spell doom.
Today, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier is addressing this abomination of justice and taking the banking giant JPMorgan Chase to task:
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced Monday that his office had launched an investigation into New York-based JPMorgan Chase following reports of a Biden-era FBI investigation that allegedly targeted Republican-linked entities.
President Donald Trump told CNBC in August that JPMorgan Chase and other banks refused to accept more than $1 billion in deposits from Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), forcing it to spread its funds “all over the place” among smaller financial institutions.
Uthmeier claimed that JPMorgan Chase coordinated with then-special counsel Jack Smith during the Justice Department’s “Operation Arctic Frost,” which led the financial giant to “unbank” TMTG at a crucial moment in its formative period.

In a letter to JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, obtained by Fox News Digital, Uthmeier expressed “serious concerns” about “explosive revelations” that the Biden administration targeted political opponents and that the bank may have played a role.
Led by former Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., TMTG went public in 2024 under the ticker symbol “DJT” — the president’s initials — but encountered major headwinds when JPMorgan Chase suddenly removed it.
“In addition to spying on Republican senators, the Biden administration has subpoenaed sensitive banking information from several Florida individuals, organizations and business entities, including [TMTG]”, Uthmeier wrote.
Christina Pushaw, former press secretary for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and now a senior analyst in his administration, applauded the decision:

I don’t care how influential, wealthy and powerful JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon is; he must be made to answer for what happened. Uthmeier, who has proven in the past that he is not a little violet, is right to insist on this cause.
