Two Florida teenagers accused of planning a horrific mass murder at their high school were filmed joking and laughing in the back of a police car after being apprehended.

The video surfaced this week when prosecutors presented it during a bond hearing for Lois Olivios Lippert, 14, and Isabelle Aurelia Valdez, 15, both of Altamonte Springs, a suburb of Orlando.

Prosecutors argued the teens — who joked about the killing and how one of them looked in their photos — posed a danger to the community and should stay behind bars.

The two men allegedly wanted to “resurrect” the Sandy Hook school shooting, according to court documents. Valdez was reportedly obsessed with Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza and was inspired by his horrific 2012 shooting spree that left 20 elementary school children dead.

Police arrested the two Florida men in January after authorities received a tip that a student known as “Jimmy” was planning to kill a classmate at Lake Brantley High School, according to the Altamonte Springs police arrest report.

Detectives later identified “Jimmy” as Valdez.

In the patrol car video played in court, Valdez told Lippert that she had planned to “do my makeup this morning for the picture” but didn’t come up with anything before school.

“I’m glad I didn’t look too bad today,” Lippert replied.

“At least they’ll see me in the photo one way or another,” Valdez responded.

The two also joked about becoming a “lesbian couple in prison.”

Deputy Prosecutor Domenick Leo told the judge that “there are no conditions of release reasonably sufficient to protect the community from the risk of physical harm.”

The court ordered the detention of both accused without bail.

The two teenagers are accused of attempted murder and will be tried as adults rather than juveniles.

Court documents detail what prosecutors describe as a twisted motive behind the alleged plot, Fox News Digital reported.

“We learned that the victim had called back [Valdez] of Adam Lanza and that she believed that if she killed the victim, she would have a blood relationship with Adam Lanza, which would raise him from the dead,” a court motion states.

Investigators allege Valdez sent messages to Discord stating, “Holy shit I’m going to do a blood ritual for Adam Lanza LMAOOOO,” telling Lippert “this will be over by tomorrow” and asking him to bring latex gloves.

According to the media:

Authorities said the two men planned to ambush the victim in a school bathroom, stab him in the stomach or slit his throat, leave flowers at the scene and then smoke a cigarette afterward. Prosecutors told the court the teens discussed bringing a knife to school, sharpening and testing the blade in the toilet before the planned attack.

Investigators also say Lippert drew pictures depicting the victim dead and hanging on a rope next to Valdez, as well as sexually explicit sketches of the classmate.

Police credit the principle of “if you see something, say something” for preventing the homicidal attack when a student contacted police about the alleged plot.

The two men are expected to be tried together in Florida circuit court.

Trying them as adults allows the court to hand down long prison sentences, while juvenile systems generally can only detain minors until they reach adulthood — even those convicted of homicide.
