Florida State football recruiting: Jonah Winston, younger brother of Jameis, commits to Seminoles after win
Florida State cannot stop winning during the first week of the 2025 university football season. Shortly after the seminoles managed a massive upheaval against Alabama 8 on Saturday evening, they received a commitment from the three stars Jonah Winston – the younger brother of the legendary quarter of the FSU Jameis Winston.
The young Winston, who ranks as a large receiver No. 47 in the promotion of 2026, confirmed his commitment to the seminoles on social networks.
According to Noles247, Winston was present for the victory of Florida State against Alabama. He also holds reported offers from Crimson Tide, Auburn and Texas A&M, among 20 other schools.
Winston plays all over the field for Hoover (Alabama) High School. He has taken shots at the quarter-Arrière and the wide receiver in the last two seasons, and he added the defensive to his repertoire while Hoover launched in his 2025 season.
Florida State will be in great shape if Jonah has something close to the career that Jameis has done with the seminoles, even if he plays a different position. Winston won the Heisman 2013 Trophy while leading Florida State to a national title as a recruit of Redshirt and was a selection twice of All-ACC from 2013-2014 after launching 7,964 yards and 65 affected in two seasons as a starter.
