This is not the best year for the Ford F-1550 Lightning, with sales until now this year by almost 10% compared to last year. In the hope of stimulating interest in the truck powered by battery, Ford has today announced a new appearance package called StX, which, according to the company, is in direct response to customer comments.

The STX, which replaces the XLT in the Lightning range, is equipped with double engines and an extended beach battery which targets a range of 290 miles. Nor will it be out of right, with 536 horsepower and 775 LB-PI. of torque, as well as a standard rear email locking differential.

Ford also “attacked the F-150 parts bin” to add a bunch of robust features, including off-road cards from F-150 tremors and new wheels and all-terrain tires that are new in the Ford electric truck.

There is a new grille, lines of blue accent and a “STX” badge everywhere. Truck owners who like to do real truck stuff with their large electric truck can oppose a black vinyl floor for additional protection. In addition to the regular range of paint options, the STX will also be available in two new colors: Argon Blue and Marsh Gray.

“Customers have requested a robust F-150 lightning with more range than the standard XLT range,” said Marchand, Product and Consumer Marketing Manager for The Lightning, in a press release. “So far, if these owners wanted a robust F-150 Lightning, they had to turn to the secondary market to build the truck they wanted. We wanted to meet them where they were, that is why we are so excited by the new F-150 Lightning Stx.”

The STX arrived at dealerships at the beginning of 2026 and begins at $ 63,345. Ford says he expects it to be a first seller based on internal projections.
