Forget the Series 11, the Apple Watch SE 3 just gained a ton of high-end perks

During the media event “AWE Droping”, Apple presented its 2025 SmartWatch range today, with the Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3 and SE 3. Although high -end models continue to pack exclusive advantages, as expected, the Apple Watch SE 3 stolen the spotlight with the greatest number of new additions. At this stage, more occasional users can opt safe for the budgetary model – without fear of missing.

In addition to the longer battery life (24 hours on the 11 series against 18 hours on the SE), the Apple Watch Series 11 does not really incorporate a ton of exciting features. Those who have a 9 series can skip the releases of this year, because their watches already support all the main additions of Watchos 26. The Apple Watch SE 3, on the other hand, has finally received a lot of significant upgrades which bring it closer to the premium variants.

The most notable improvement may be supporting the display functionality always on. Watches should show time at any time, and the privilege finally extended to the cheapest smartwatch in the company. You always get the sizes somewhat dated 40 mm and 44 mm, but it will no longer be old. And with new lines of wrist and double carpet, it will seem more futuristic than ever.

Like the Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3, SE 3 also adopted the S10 chip. Consequently, the latest model is now supported by the lots of new health metrics and new unavailable features on its predecessors. These include sleep apnea notifications, wrist temperature monitoring, retrospective estimates of ovulation, SIRI on disk with access to health data, wrist film and double tap gestures, and more. Other Apple Watch Se 3 hardware levels include multimedia reading using the integrated speaker, 5G support and up to 2x faster load compared to SE 2.

As you can imagine with an intelligent entry -level watch, some exclusives of the Apple Watch series remain unavailable on SE 3. Some absent include the ECG sensor, blood oxygen monitoring, brighter display, hypertension notifications, water temperature measurements, ultra -wide flea for the location of precision, more. Nothing is exclusive to this year’s publishing. In fact, the already gets the function of sleep score.

In terms of material, the Apple Watch Series 11 has a larger and better display than the SE-2X more striking than the series 10, a welcome change for those who frequently collide their wrist against sharp objects. But guess what? The Ion-X glass of the SE is also 4x more resistant to cracks than the previous generation. And many people will be happy that there is still a smaller option of 40 mm.

Ultra is in a different universe

The ultra 3 model of this year does not introduce a ton of attractive features, but it is at a different end from the SE spectrum. Given that the robust model was not refreshed last year, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 wins certain advantages initially adopted by the series 10 of 2024, including the LTPO3 OLED panel which supports the visualization of the hand of seconds in Tour in mode always in mode.
