Former Colts' RB who hasn't played since 2022 due to injury signs with AFC team

The former balloon carrier of the Indianapolis colts, Nyheim Hines, landed with a new team, signing with the charges, according to Adam Schefter.

Hines has not played in a regular NFL season game since 2022 due to a knee injury.

Hines would tear his ACL in a jet ski accident during the 2023 off-season and lacked this year. He signed with Cleveland last off -season but did not appear in any match in 2024.

Selection of fourth round by the colts in 2018, Hines played its first four seasons and more in Indianapolis before being exchanged at the Buffalo Bills during the 2022 season. In return, the colts would receive the ball carrier Zach Moss and a conditional choice of sixth round in 2023.

During the career of his colts, Hines made 17 departures and appeared in 81 games. It has an average of 3.9 yards per race, but was part of the game of passes, catching 235 passes – including two seasons of more than 60 captures – for 1,778 yards and eight affected.
