What are connections?
THE New York Times‘s latest daily pun has become a hit on social media. THE Times thanks Associate Puzzles Editor Wyna Liu for helping create the new word game and bringing it to the Games section of the posts. Relationships can be played on web browsers and mobile devices and requires players to group four words together that share something in common.

Each puzzle has 16 words and each group of words is divided into four categories. These sets can include anything from book titles, software, country names, etc. Even if several words seem to fit together, there is only one correct answer.
If a player gets all four words from a set correct, those words are removed from the board. Guess wrong and it counts as a mistake: players make up to four mistakes until the end of the game.

Players can also rearrange and shuffle the board to make connections easier to spot. Additionally, each group is color coded, with yellow being the simplest, followed by green, blue, and purple. As Wordle, you can share the results with your friends on social networks.
