Graham shared his declaration in an article on social networks on Friday, telling mockery that their efforts are powerless to thwart communication between God and people.
“To the Democrat mayor of Minneapolis and to the other socialist who criticized the call to prayer in the aftermath of the tragic shooting of the school-your words do not change or do not decrease the power and the importance of prayer,” he wrote:
Because someone calls for prayer does not mean that bad things will not happen or that the urgency will disappear, we all know it. But prayer is our opportunity to communicate directly with the God of Heaven and bring him our petitions. God sees, God hears, and God can intervene. The Bible says: “Let us then confidently go to the throne of grace, so that we can receive mercy and find grace to help if necessary” (Hebrews 4:16). What a gift is. The Bible tells us that Jesus himself prayed fervently when he faced death on the cross. In the case of these students who were shot dead during prayer, God can comfort and peace to the families who have been devastated. The God of this age is Satan – he is the one who wants to fly, kill and destroy. He is the author of all lies and the agitation and violence that follow – like this insane shooting. The Bible teaches that one day Jesus Christ will return and that each knee will bow and each language will admit that Jesus is Lord. He will wipe each tear, and peace will come to this world, because he is the prince of peace – he is the embodiment of peace, truth and justice. He will judge those who are alive and those who are dead. Yes, we pray and I will continue to encourage people to pray. Satan would like nothing better than thwarting the most vital tool that God has given us – realization. Mayor Frey, I hope that you will know the price that has been paid for your sins and that you will understand the value of prayer in your own life.

Thursday, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) fell online with other Democrats to make fun of the prayer in the aftermath of the tragedy, declaring: “These children literally prayed when they fell,” implying prayer has no power, according to Breitbart News.
The mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey (D), received a return of flame after having attacked people of faith for praying following the shooting at the Catholic School of Annunciation, reported Breitbart News. Frey’s comments were similar to those of Newsom; He also pointed out that the children spoke to God when the shots were sounded.
“Don’t say it’s a matter of thoughts and prayers right now. These children literally pray,” he said.

Frey’s comments led to a quick conviction on social networks. The media analyst Scott Jennings wrote on X: “The tragedy struck a Catholic school of Minneapolis today and the very first thing that the mayor @jacob_frey did was to attack people of faith to call for prayer. I could not believe when I heard it. Whatever your political ideology, there are few moments when prayer is more appropriate.”

Radio animator Dana Loesch exploded Frey’s timing: “Nothing says that silly politicians like this guy who comes out and attack quickly and laugh at prayer after a tragedy.”
A bishop of Minnesota criticized Frey, describing his declarations as “completely asinin”, according to Breitbart News.
Bishop Robert Barron explained: “Catholics do not think that prayer protects them as if by magic of all sufferings. After all, Jesus raised fervently of the cross on which he was dying. ”
The alleged shooter apparently had a deep hatred for Christianity. He also went from a male name to a female name at the age of 17 and identified as a woman, according to Breitbart News.
