NYC mother, daughter arrested after brutal attack over contested neighborhood parking spot

Two individuals were arrested in new York Last week, the video captured them spitting racial insults and viciously attacking a driver in a public parking lot.

Andreea Dumitru, 45, and Sabrina Starman, 21, were accused of assault on Monday after attacking a 21 -year -old driver outside a house in Ridgewood, Queens, confirmed on Saturday at Fox News Digital.

Social media users on Reddit allegedly alleged that the two attackers were a mother-daughter duo who became violent after the victim had tried to move a trash can that was placed in the street to block a public parking space.

The suspects would have hit the woman several times in the face and body, causing substantial pain, the authorities said.

The victim was identified as Jada McPherson, according to the new Post york.

While the attack broke out on Monday, the neighbors say that the tensions in the parking space have simmered for years.

Social media users on a Reddit article entitled “The fight against the parking space finally occurred” said that the people involved regularly used trash cans and traffic cones to illegally hold street parking for hours during their absence.

A former resident on the Reddit thread said: “Sometimes these trash cans will be there for three hours by reserving the place.”

The person who filmed the altercation said in the post: “It has been happening for years. The whole family does it today, someone has finally had a breakdown.”

The video shows the moments before the fight, where the 21 -year -old victim is seen with his car, trying to clean the parking space by removing the trash.

A man was heard shouting, “stops touching my things”, while placed the trash cans on the sidewalk, according to Fox 5 New York.

The victim replied with: “I have just returned from work! I don’t want to surround the block five times in search of a parking space because it [expletive] held him with a trash can, “said the point of sale.

A few moments later, Starman rushes over the woman and begins to punched. Dumitru and an unidentified man joined the woman and pulling the hair while the victim curled up.

A passer -by with a cane was also heard shouting while the fight intensified.

Police arrested Dumitru and Starman on the scene, and the victim was treated for his injuries on the spot, the authorities announced.
