French sampling finds low E. coli risk in ground meat

Only two meat samples tested positive for E. coli in a surveillance program in France.
The results come from official monitoring programs for Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) in ground beef and veal meat carried out in 2023 and 2024 by the Directorate General of Food (DGAL).
