Fuel Theft Raid in Mexico Linked to Ruling Party’s Top Political Operators

Mexican authorities are trying to protect the main political operators within the country’s power party to prevent them from being appointed or prosecuted in connection with a fuel flight ring connected to the cartel that operates in the northern part of the country.
As Breitbart Texas reported, money connected to the cartel of various fuel flight operations has been channeled in the past to pay political campaigns in Mexico to keep the party in power in power.
The RAID took place recently in the border town of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, where agents of the Office General of Mexico (FGR) made a descent into a truck, entering 1.8 million liters of industrial products, nine trucks, 39 trailer tanks, 12 pumps and various other industrial equipment.
The Mexican authorities have published a press release on the RAID, and various officials talked about the application measure as part of a public relations strategy coordinated by the highest security responsible for the country, Omar Garcia Harfuch. The manager tried to appease the US government for his complaints that they did not do enough to stop the drug cartels. The seizure of fuel in Reynosa would be linked to the new generation of the Jalisco cartel and the Metros faction of the Gulf cartel, which operates in Reynosa.
As Breitbart Texas reported, Garcia Harfuch made raids, exaggerated crises and announced large -scale deployments to appease the American government. In reality, drug cartels continue to work with an almost complete impunity throughout the country.
In the aftermath of the FGR’s announcement, various local journalists and political opponents of the ruling party, Morena, revealed that the property where the fuel flight raid had taken place belonged to a company that belongs to the Mexican senator Jose Ramon “JR” Gomez Leal, a superior political operator within Morena.
As Breitbart Texas reported, various politicians of Morena would have channeled the fuel flight funds in their campaigns through an organization led by the late Sergio Carmona. Armed men pulled and killed Carmona in 2021 in a high -end hairdressing salon in the state of Nuevo Leon. Since then, more information has been disclosed on the complex links between the Mexico political elite and the financing of cartel campaigns.
