Full iPhone 17 Color Lineup for 2025: Apple’s 5 New iPhone Colors
The rumor iPhone 17 could be announced in less than a month.
There are a lot of rumors about what we can expect from the next Apple smartphone, such as a redesigned camera and a larger battery. But if you are all about Apple’s aesthetics, design and elegance, you probably consider what colors the iPhone 17 could come.
THE iPhone 16 came in a few color waves, including the traditional black and white that we have seen for years. But we have also seen Rose, Sarcelle and Ultramarine for Basic Models, as well as titanium finishes for Pro and Pro Max models. But this year, there are rumors that we could see iPhone colors that we have never seen before and some familiar – like the M4 MacBook Air’s Sky Blue. And instead of titanium, we could see aluminum finishes. More about this below.
Time is close to Apple’s great revelation. Here is what we have gathered whirling rumors on the possible colors of the iPhone 17.

IPhone 17 colors
The basic model of the iPhone 17 would have come in classic black and white, as well as four new colors.

IPhone 17 pro and pro max colors
- Black

- Gray
- Dark blue

Eyes1122 has a similar programming in their message, but the basic options do not include Gray.
Black and silver are not surprising because we have seen the two neutral colors in previous models and generations. However, if you use a colorful phone blanket instead, like me, this possibility could be welcome.
The color of the iPhone that I have not seen coming
Violet, blue and green are all part of the same color palette. Neutral colors do not surprise me because they are standard for iPhones at this stage. But the orange color is shocking. Dickson expects the color to be only for pro and pro max models.
The Scott Dickson leak has also noted that the orange shadow could end up being dark gold or copper, but no other rumor yet points to this new color.

Sky Blue could be old to Apple, but a new iPhone shade
Here is the MacBook Air M4 in sky blue, the same color as the iPhone 17 Pro could enter.
The first color of rumor for the iPhone 17 was the blue sky.
The well -known leak, Majin BU, published the rumor of the new color on their blog, calling it “a refined, bright and modern shade”. But why the blue sky?
Perhaps because the last M4 MacBook Air is currently in Sky blue, an iPhone in the same color could be an aesthetic victory for owners of MacBook Sky Blue.
BU initially wrote that the sky blue color could be for the iPhone 17 Pro, but recently deleted that rumor said that Sky Blue would be for the air of the iPhone 17.
It seems that there is a possibility for different shades of blue, as we see in the programming above. The rumor wants there to be a blue option for the basic model of the iPhone 17 and a dark blue for the iPhone 17 Pro. But on the basis of the BU post, there is a possibility that the iPhone 17 air gets a sky blue shade. We will have to wait and see which one – if necessary – Blues will be available for the iPhone 17.
The possibility of purple
BU published on X and their blog on June 20 that Apple tests purple and green, but this purple could be another new color for the basic models of the iPhone 17.
BU said Purple could respond to Apple’s rumor demand for more personalization while based in Apple’s ecosystem for its other products.
If green is added to the iPhone 17 range, BU says it could be a “fresh and natural tone, ideal for a minimalist but striking aesthetic”. Eyes1122 and Dickinson included both purple and green in their rumor programs this month.
Could an aluminum iPhone design bring more colors?
Here is the iPhone 16 (left), 16 Plus, 16 pro and 16 pro max.
The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max have a titanium frame, but analyst Jeff was predicted that the iPhone 17 could inaugurate the return of the aluminum frame for pro and basic models, as we have seen with previous versions such as the iPhone 14 range. Considering that the colors of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are based on titanium, this will raise the question: colors?
The only phone in the iPhone 17 range which could have a titanium frame is the thinner iPhone 17 air. We will have to wait and see what Apple decides.

A look at the past iPhone colors
Here is an iPhone 14 Pro with Deep Purple.
Apple likes to publish new and familiar colors for each new version of iPhone.
Usually, we see more color variations for basic models and more neutral colors for iPhone pro and pro max models. For example:
The iPhone 14 came in six colors: midnight, stars, red, blue, purple and yellow. However, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models only came only black, silver, gold and deep purple. The same goes for the 15 phones of the model, but Apple offered one less color for its basic model.
The iPhone 15 models were available in pink, yellow, green, blue and black, while the pro and pro max models arrived in more neutral tones like white, blue, black and natural titanium.
THE iPhone 16 pro and pro max The colors have not changed compared to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. However, the other iPhone 16 models were available in ultramarine, sarcelle, pink, white and black.
We do not know how many new colors we could see from the iPhone 17 of the rumor, but for the moment, a blue sky option may well be in your future.
