Garfield, Roosevelt prepare to open new football stadiums this fall

As if the Garfield sports rivalry against Roosevelt had more incitement to excite his fans, the two schools are preparing to reveal their new stadiums and football fields this fall after having no home game last season while the construction took place.

The final work could be completed by the end of this month. The unified school district of Los Angeles has paid for improvements in the context of the modernization projects of the campus paid by the obligations.

Roosevelt completed a $ 200 million school modernization project which included a new gymnasium and a new show center.

“For all the elders, it will be a blessing to play at home,” said coach Ernesto Ceja.
