Garrett Wilson’s New Deal May Accelerate Terry McLaurin’s Payday
While the contractual negotiations continue between the Large Terry McLaurin receiver and the commanders of Washington, the veteran playmaker could soon become one of the best paid in the NFL in his post, thanks to the recent agreement of Garrett Wilson.
New York Jets have given Wilson an extension of $ 130 million over four years today, creating an average of an average annual (AAV) value of $ 32.5 million. McLaurin, currently entering the last year of a $ 69.6 million contract over three years (23.2 million AAV dollars), is asking an extension that overshadows the $ 30 million a year mark, according to recent reports. He does not want to reset the market, but he wants to be paid as a higher receiver – and rightly so.

Although he was five years older than Wilson, the 29 -year -old has maintained elite production throughout his career, including five consecutive seasons of 1,000 yards. McLaurin’s salary is currently ranking 16th in the NFL, and the price is increasing every day. Bowler’s double pro has played every game in the past four seasons, turning sustainable and consistent for Washington. Despite the litigation of the contract, the head coach Dan Quinn ensures that the relationship does not open.
“Dan Quinn remained in constant contact with Terry McLaurin throughout this off -season,” said James Palmer via the Bleacher report. “It was not controversial in this sense of knowing where it is separated from the organization. Is there a distance, is there also frustration here? Certainly. Did they really have progress throughout the month of June? To my understanding, no, they did not really do it.”
McLaurin initiated a fine of $ 104,768 after choosing to jump the compulsory mini-commanders in June.
