Gary man charged in fatal shooting

A Gary man is accused of having shot David Foster, 38, Friday afternoon.
Tyrisce Calhoun Jr. was charged on Saturday by murder, according to the judicial archives. Calhoun would have shot Foster in the 1700 block of Pierce Street.
Foster suffered a ball injury in an apparent homicide, according to a release from the Coroner’s office in the County of Lake. He was declared dead at 12:56 p.m. in the Northlake Methodist Hospitals operating room.
There is a mandate for the arrest of Calhoun, according to the files.
