Researchers studying the effectiveness of outdoor ads promoting climate change awareness and action found that a general message raising awareness of the climate emergency received more QR code scans than a more specific campaign focused on sustainable fashion, according to a study published in PLOS Climate by Maxwell Boykoff of the University of Colorado Boulder, US, and colleagues.
