George Will Reveals Jaw-Dropping Take on NYC’s Zohran Mamdani to Bill Maher – RedState
Once upon a time, George Will was a curator.
I no longer know what he is after his TDS led him to vote for Joe Biden. Even if he did not want to vote for Donald Trump, to vote for Biden seems to be a denial of everything he was before. It is certainly not a conservative position.
But what he said Friday on HBO’s “real time” with Bill Maher was somehow even more surprising than that.
Maher and Will spoke of the candidate for the race for the Democrat mayor in New York, Zohran Mamdani. Maher hardened against Mamdani, saying that he says “the things that the Communists say. I mean, he wants free grocery stores, free buses.” But it was Will’s answer that was surprising … when he said he wanted Mamdani to win.

“Every 20 years approximately, we need a clearly visible and confined experience with socialism so that we can break it again,” said. He continued:
The slogan of the socialists was, “the workers of the world, unite”, “you have nothing to lose only your channels”. The new socialist slogan is: “Trust us, this time, it will not be a mess”. So you know, when the post-war labor government in Great Britain was about to start, one of their main lights was a socialist named Aneurin Bevan.
He said, “What could go wrong?” He said, “We have a nation lying on coal, surrounded by fish. An organizational genius would need for a shortage of one or the other.
In three years, they have made a shortage of both. It is socialism.
I understand his point, that he thinks that it will teach people who do not understand now.
The problem is that if Mamdani wins, it means a lot of suffering, not only for people from New York. Due to the importance of New York, it will lead to more left -handed to infect and hurt people. And it’s silly to think it would be “confined”. It’s like a virus – if you let it live, it spreads.

We do not need another example of the failure of socialism – we have already had many examples. When he fails again and they don’t give up power, then what? They are real people, it is not only an esoteric “experience” without consequences. Mamdani and others would support the bad results as someone else’s fault, just as we saw Biden. The people on the left will believe it, just as they fall for the whole palum that the left is growing now.
Wanting that Mamdani wins is similar to the vote for Biden rather than for Trump – a bad idea all around and not well thought out.
We must fight the ascent of radical leftism whenever he raises his ugly head.
