Georgia rescue donkey set to break Guinness World Record

A rescue donkey adopted from Crawford County is not only bringing joy to his new owners, but he’s also about to break a Guinness World Record.
Hope came from Arkansas, extremely emaciated and depressed. Her new owner, Hannah Frost, took Hope to her local veterinarian to be examined, and the doctor noticed the donkey’s extremely long ears.
“Both ears measured a little over 40 centimeters on average, which is amazing,” said Dr. Julia Smith of Central Georgia Equine Services.

Hope’s ears measure nearly 16 inches long, breaking a Guinness World Record.
“‘I’m excited for her. I think her story comes from what she’s done and it’s just a really good ending to a good story,” Frost said.
Frost still has to complete some paperwork to make it official, but she said she’s looking forward to Hope winning the title.
