Logan Paul gets big backing from Vision stablemate

Austin Theory and Logan Paul have one of their biggest tests as World Tag Team Champions this weekend as they defend their titles against The Street Profits in Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Theory and Paul are members of The Vision – the main faction on “Monday Night Raw” showcasing the future of WWE. Bron Breakker may be the leader of the group in the ring as he made a thunderous return to the roster at WrestleMania 42 and then defeated Seth Rollins at Backlash. Theory and Paul are the ones holding the gold while Paul Heyman is the spokesperson for the next generation of superstars.

With the tag team title around his waist, Paul has now held gold twice in WWE since his debut with the company in 2021. Paul has the tools every professional wrestler dreams of – the athletic prowess in the ring coupled with the immense heat of the crowd as well as his skills on the mic.

Theory told Fox News Digital that Paul’s rise in WWE has made it more difficult for any outsider to come in and succeed, suggesting that the YouTube sensation has set the bar extremely high.

“I say with Logan Paul, with his athletic ability and his wrestling skills and how he was able to develop them so quickly,” he said. “It’s impressive to me – someone who wanted to be in WWE since I was eight, started training at 18, signed with WWE at 22 and took this longer path. But I have to give Logan his respect. This is a guy, when he was young, who started with YouTube and streaming and pretty much – this guy created YouTube. He put it on the map, his whole streaming thing.

“We both build our dreams in different ways and we meet in the middle. I just think he’s kind of ruined it for everyone on the outside who wants to get into WWE and thinks, ‘Oh wow, it’s easy. I can get on a mic and talk shit and I can do these cool moves like Logan Paul,’ but you can’t. It’s an art. Logan Paul is exceptional on the mic. In the ring, he even does things. highflyers that we have in WWE couldn’t even do it. He’s just a phenomenal athlete. When it comes to me and Logan Paul, we’re freaks of nature, that’s why I say we’re going to motivate everyone this Saturday on Saturday Night Main Event.

The Vision, which also includes an injured Bronson Reed, is under the tutelage of Heyman, who has been a “wise man” and “advocate” for many of WWE’s young talents.

Theory was convinced that Heyman was sending him and his stablemates in the right direction.

“With Paul Heyman, you know, that thing with Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins – you know, before he realized he was a loser,” he said. “Paul Heyman, man, he’s the “wise guy.” I think everything that comes out of his mouth is gold and most importantly, he shapes The Vision and sends us in the right direction. I couldn’t ask for more. It’s just sitting under the tree of knowledge of history. It comes from the 80s to the present day. The guy did everything. I am very grateful to the wise man, Paul Heyman.”

Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins will fight for the tag team titles. Both returned to “Monday Night Raw” following WrestleMania 42 after an extended absence.

The theory has given them credit where it is due. They are three-time WWE Champions and have won the titles at NXT and Evolve. However, Theory made it clear that Ford and Dawkins are going up against “the greatest tag team champions in the world.”

“Well, the Street Profits. They’ve been in WWE for a very long time,” he said. “That seems too long, like 60 years. I realize that every time I have a title, they’re there, which makes sense because they’re irrelevant and I’m relevant. But not to push them too low, they’re very athletic, they have a great resume. But it’s just that comparison to Austin Theory and Logan Paul – The Vision. The greatest tag team champions in the world, in the universe. You can’t really compare.

“Unfortunately, yeah, I said unfortunately, the show is in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I look at this match as a big motivational moment for these people because they’re going to see two guys who don’t look like anyone from Fort Wayne. We look like fucking superheroes. We’re really here to inspire everyone and then after the match, let’s get the hell out of there.”

Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place on Saturday in Fort Wayne, Indiana, much to Theory’s dismay. And it’s a loaded card.
