The Dallas Cowboys finally gained some positive momentum after a very difficult few weeks with the passing of Marshawn Kneeland.

The win against the Las Vegas Raiders was a must-have, and now the focus turns to a season-defining three-game stretch for Dallas that will make it or break it in 2025.
The Philadelphia Eagles are first, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions in what is a brutal 12 days for Brian Schottenheimer’s team.
And for running back Javonte Williams, he’s never had this kind of schedule before, but he’s ready to jump into it.
“No, it’s my first time and I feel like we’re playing some of the best teams on our schedule at this point,” Williams said. “So we just have to stay locked in, keep stacking up wins and find a way to play like we’re playing Monday night every game.”

Williams is having a superb bounce-back season
Javonte’s decision was considered a gamble in the offseason, but only 10 games later, and there’s no denying it was a smart and good decision.
Williams already has 809 yards and eight touchdowns (a career-high), and is just 95 yards away from also having a career-high in yards.
Running at 5.0 yards per clip, Williams was a breath of fresh air for a Cowboys offense that was crying out for some resemblance to a running game after last year’s horror show. Williams gave Dallas that and more.

Averaging over 80 rushing yards per game (another career high), Williams has been a driving force for Schottenheimer’s offense, and over the next 12 days, with three contenders awaiting him, Javonte will be counted on more than ever to help his 4-5-1 team prove that this Cowboys team can still amount to something in 2025.
