The Trump administration is putting the latest nail in the coffin of a Biden era policy, ordering federal agencies to clean the employees of their COVVI-19 vaccine status, according to a memo exclusively obtained by the daily.

The staff management office (OPM) is expected to send a memo on Friday by asking agencies to erase the files of federal workers from their cocvaccin status, including their non-conformity with previous vaccine mandates, or any exemption request, the appellant learned for the first time. The agency also officially requests federal branches to stop considering the status of the COVVI-19 vaccine of employees in the job process, the service note indicates. “Things have become uncontrollable during the pandemic, and federal workers were dismissed, punished or sidelined for having simply made a personal medical decision. This should never have happened,” said the appellant in a statement. “Thanks to the management of President Trump, we make sure that the excesses of that time have no persistent effects on federal workers.”

The memo comes after a non-profit organization, FEDS for Freedom, announced on Wednesday that it had concluded a regulation with the Ministry of Justice (DOJ), forcing the OPM to order the federal agencies to take off the employees of their COVVI-19 status. Feds for Freedom, which has around 9,000 federal employees, filed a complaint in December 2021 on the Biden prescription requiring such information from federal workers. They managed to obtain an injunction in 2022, which temporarily interrupted the mandate of the federal government. Former President Joe Biden officially revoked the mandate in May 2023.

Biden signed a little executive decree shortly after taking office in 2021, ordering the federal agencies to demand the COVVI-19 vaccine for workers. Once the order is canceled, OPM has published a memorandum for human resources directors, writing that “agencies should review their job offers … to ensure that no lists compliance with the executive decree now revoked 14043 as a qualification requirement”, declared the memo. “The OPM reiterates and now develops these previous guidelines. Between actually, federal agencies cannot use the status of an individual’s COVVI-19 vaccine, the history of non-compliance with previous vaccination mandates of COVID-19, or requests for exemptions from these mandates in any decision-related decision, including the readings of hiring, but not limited.
