It is easy to assume that dogs are lovers of the great outdoors – after all, they tend to roll in the mud and jump into the water whenever possible. But it seems to be stuck in a tent while it flows with the rain is not the idea of Golden Retriever of pleasure.
Murphy’s reaction, ten months at the campsite, has become viral on Tiktok (@murphy_retriever), earning more than 2.2 million views in just two days since July 16.
The images show Murphy inside an empty tent, looking out the light PVC window and sitting in the area, apparently in a breath. The superimposed text on the comic scene can be read
In the comments, a user asked: “Why is he rolled up in the area like a poor hungry street dog? It is not the holidays he imagined.” The owner replied: “He is much happier now on the beach with the bright sun !!”
“He said” I’m going to sleep to avoid crying, “said another user, while a third wrote:” The poor baby thought he was [going to] have time of life. “”
These days, dog owners change the way they are on vacation because of their pets. In May, a study of 5,000 animal owners in the United States, commissioned by Trusthusiansitters, revealed that 56% say they have been traveling less since obtaining a pet.
Sixteen percent of the owners spend more on vacation to be able to bring their pets. Data has also shown that 57% of animal owners now provide for vacation around accommodation suitable for pets, and 22% choose a road trip instead of a flight.

For those who plan a campsite trip with their canine companion, the American Kennel Club (AKC) offers the following advice:
Safety and supervision of dogs
- Always keep your dog with you – by spending the day and while you sleep.
- Never leave your dog in a parked car – it’s dangerous and potentially deadly.
- Bring a dog bed and a towel – for comfort and to manage the mud.
Food and hydration
Cleanliness and waste elimination
- Get after your dog – jump the shit bags and eliminate the waste correctly.
Health and grooming checks
- Inspect your dog daily – from nose to tail.
- Look for ticks, scoff quextontes and carpets in fur.
- Bring a brush or a comb to help eliminate debris.
With the kind permission of others
- Keep your dog silent and under control around other campers and dogs.
- Respect the space of other campers and food areas.
