Mesh Eero from Amazon The range is difficult to beat for people looking for a defined Wi-Fi system for their home. Simplicity, with one side of support for the smart house, makes Eero Pro 7 a convincing perspective. It establishes a good balance in the EERO Wi-Fi 7 range, offering the faster group of 6 GHz and better versatile performance than the entry-level EERO 7, while costing much less than the high-end Max 7.

Although I have encountered dentition problems with systems like the max 7 when Wi-Fi 7 was new, my time with Pro 7 has saved. Quick to install, easy to use and reliable, it is an easy to recommend mesh, but there is a lot of competition. At $ 700 for a 3 pack, the Eero Pro 7 is not cheap, and you have to pay an Eero Plus subscription to unlock all its features.

Eero Systems has a well -deserved reputation to be easy to install and use. Download the EERO application, log in with your Amazon account and follow the screen instructions to put your operational network in a few minutes. The application remains simple, with a home page displaying your Internet connection, your mesh routers and your connected devices. You can dig into the full list of devices and revision activities, but everything else is hidden in the settings.

I tested a 3 identical shiny white plastic pack pack, with the same tower design as the max 7, just slightly smaller. They mix easily and connect in power via the USB-C port at the rear. Each unit sports two 5 Gbps Ethernet ports. The application guides you on the placement, and it is better to consider your network as an internet spine for the house, so rather than placing a knot in a dead place, to put it halfway between your main router and the room you are trying to cover.

My Eero Pro 7 tests lasted a house movement, so I was able to test it in a modern house where two units easily covered all the corner and in an old Victorian house with much thicker walls, where the three units were necessary. While speeds using Wi-Fi 7 devices in the same room as the main router were as fast as I recorded, there was a significant drop in one or two rooms. Indeed, the 6 GHz band does not penetrate as well as the 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz bands to which we are used to it.
