Jessie Buckley Won Best Actress at the 2026 Oscars in a Look Inspired by Grace Kelly
Jessie Buckley won her first Oscar for her role as Agnes Hathaway in Hamnet at the 2026 Oscars. And obviously, such a moment calls for a look to match.
For Buckley, that meant taking inspiration from another Oscar-winning actress and timeless icon: Grace Kelly. It seems Buckley channeled Kelly for her dress, style, hair and maybe even as a good luck charm to win the Best Actress statuette.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen the red and pink duo on the red carpet, and Jessie Buckley really excelled in this Chanel dress. For starters, there’s the long, flowing skirt and tail that are pure old-school Hollywood. And then there’s the red top – an homage to the red carpet itself, perhaps? – which creates an ultra-flattering Bardot neckline.
With such a remarkable dress, the only solution is to wear relatively discreet jewelry. Buckley chose a delicate diamond choker with camellia-shaped earrings.
