Gulf states again under Iranian fire

Gulf states reported new Iranian attacks on Friday, as Tehran continued to retaliate against Israeli-US strikes.

The Kuwaiti military said on social media platform X on Friday that “air defense systems intercepted hostile targets”, referring to drones and missile attacks.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense said it had repelled several drone attacks, while authorities in the United Arab Emirates confirmed the “success of all aerial interception operations, without causing any injuries.”

Iran attacked Gulf countries in retaliation for Israeli-US strikes that killed its supreme leader and caused widespread damage. Qatar is considered by Tehran to be too friendly with the United States.
