Channel 12 reported on a classified document received by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a few hours after Barnea’s trip from Mossad to Qatar.

Hamas could have changed its position on hostage negotiations and would be ready to agree on a “partial agreement”, Channel 12 reported on Friday evening, citing a classified document received by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the Israeli point of sale, Netanyahu received a document on Thursday where Hamas was declared that the position of Hamas had been extended with the offer made by the special American shipment Steve Witkoff-which includes the release of 10 hostages live and 18 hostages dead in exchange for a 60-day ceasefire and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

The report also noted that these possible negotiations could be faster than in previous cases, with two anonymous sources cited by Channel 12 explaining that Hamas’ response could be ready next week.

This document arrives on Netanyahu’s office a few hours after the director of Mossad David Barnea met Prime Minister Qatari Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman al-Thani in Doha, Qatar, to advance the issue of negotiations on hostage transactions.

According to the statements made by representatives of Mossad, the option of arriving at a “partial agreement” which would not see the return of all the hostages has been “completely thrown”.

A long path to bring the hostages back

On Thursday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published a statement describing the principles of Israel to end the war: dismantling the military capacities of Hamas; Return all the hostages, both alive and deceased; demilitarize the Gaza strip; Not only disarming Hamas, but also ensuring that no weapon is made or introduced as a smuggling in the territory; Maintain Israeli security control in Gaza, including the security perimeter; And establish an alternative of civil administration which is neither Hamas nor the Palestinian authority.

While the mediators of Qatar and Egypt try to formulate a framework which would include the release of all hostages and the end of the war, the possibility of negotiating a partial agreement – involving the release of only 10 hostages – has not been excluded.

On Thursday, an Egyptian source familiar with the negotiations told Saudi Channel Al Arabiya that the proposal to end the exchange of war and hostage would be carried out in two stages.
