Here’s how much each NFL team made in national revenue in 2024 as revealed by Packers financial report
Business is booming in the National Football League.
Each of the 32 NFL teams received $ 432.6 million in revenue during the year 2024, indicating another year of record profits for the NFL. As Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports noted, the distribution of profits means that the NFL reported a record of $ 13.8 billion in national income in the past year.
The figures were revealed Wednesday in a report by Green Bay Packers, the only public team in the League, detailing their expenses and their income. The president and chief executive officer of outgoing packers, Mark Murphy, who retired this week at 75, shared that the profits from the operations franchise had reached $ 83.7 million – an increase of 39.3% – for the financial year 2025.
National Packers’ income increased by 7.5%, from $ 402.3 million to $ 432.6 million, their local income increased by 13.7%, from 251.8 million to 286.4 million dollars, an increase of 9.9%of total turnover of 654.1 million dollars to $ 719.1 million.
“I continue to be surprised by the popularity of the NFL and the capacity of the League office to generate income,” said Murphy. “It’s impressive. Much of this is obviously television. How people watch television that change spectacularly. NFL games and athletics or sports in general are the few things that people watch more.”
As only the NFL public team, the packers served as a window on the NFL finance and income sharing model since they are required to reveal their financial statements on an annual basis. The figures shared by the packers on Wednesday will be divided during the annual meeting of the shareholders of the franchise set for this Friday at Lambeau Field.
