Here’s what should replace your obsolete Wemo products with

Aside from a handful of devices with wire radios, most Wemo Smart Home products from Belkin will become obsolete on January 31, 2026. Although writing has been on the wall for some time, it does not make this pill bitter to swallow.
But look at the bright side: Amazon’s first day, and the most expensive prices of President Trump have not yet taken effect.
Belkin stopped selling some of these WeMo products several years ago, but the company continued to exploit the servers on which they depended. After January of next year, however, you will not be able to operate them using the WEMO application or with third -party services.
These recommendations are based on my hypothesis that you will want to replace your Wemo devices with something just as simple, so I will not enter each Alternative, including some that could be more attractive to Smart Home Power users. However, I will help you minimize the brands you buy, so you don’t need to juggle many smart applications.
However, there are cases where this will not be possible, because I recommend Lutron products like my best choices in many categories, and Lutron does not make intelligent bulbs or interior intelligent caps that can manage small devices. Lutron does not take care of the question either, if it is important for you (it’s not for me).
If you use Amazon Alexa, Apple Homekit or Google Home, using more than one application is not if expensive once you have set up a given product and perhaps configure on / stop schedules, because most of your interactions will involve using voice commands. You will find that you will not have to rely on these applications.
In any event, here are the Belkin products that will become obsolete next year, and the products that I recommend to replace them before or shortly after.
Wemo smart bulbs
- WEMO LED lighting foundation (model F5Z0489)
- Wemo Zigbee bulb, E27 (model F7C033
Replace one of these smart lighting systems based on HUB with a Philips Hue intelligent light starter kit (Philips Hue Hub and two white and color room bulbs for $ 90, 31% on Amazon).
A cheaper alternative would be the wi-fi smart kasa tp-link, which Amazon reduced to $ 22 for a pack of 4 (31% discount on the PDSF) for Prime Day. It would also be the way to follow if you decided to buy them other Intelligent house products in Kasa Smart or Tapo ecosystems (Tapo is the Smart Home brand of TP-Link, and you can integrate the products of one or the other of the families in one or the other of the applications).

Philips
Another budget alternative would be the smart RGBTW A19 smart bulb from Linkind Matter ($ 22 for a 4 and 26% discount on Amazon). It also supports the material (on Wi-Fi), but it does not require a hub. Although it is very cheap, it cannot correspond to the quality and sophistication of Philips’ offer.
Wemo intelligent switches in the wall
- Wemo switch
- Wemo Light Switch V2
- Wemo smart lighting switch
These are simple on / off devices, not gradators, but that’s what you need for charges that can’t Be attenuated, such as ceiling fans and certain types of lighting. Our highest replacement choice would be the Lutron Casété Smart Switch and Smart Hub ($ 84 for both, 20% reduction on Amazon).
Our choice of good deals would be the Kasa Smart Switch TP-Link (HS200 model), which costs only $ 13 on Amazon on the first day, a discount of 35%. The TP-Link device connects via Wi-Fi and does not need a center. So what makes Lutron’s product more desirable? Its complete compatibility with most intelligent house ecosystems, including Apple Homekit.
Note that the Wemo Cloud service stops has no impact on the wemo smart light switch with thread (WLS0503 model) or the wemo stage controller with wire.
Wemo Smart Dimmers
- Wi-Fi Wi-Fi smart lighting switch with sand (WDS060 model)
- Wemo Dimmer Light Stande (model F7C059)
We have two favorite smart nonsense, both from Lutron, and both need Lutron smart hub. The original Smart Dimmer Swith -Switch has separate buttons to turn on and deactivate the connected load, and separate buttons to increase and decrease the brightness of this load – so it’s four buttons in all.
The Pico de Lutron remote control is even the animals, with five buttons, the additional one being a programmable “favorite” brightness. You can buy the Gradator Smart Casété in a kit with Lutron’s Hub and a Pico remote control for $ 92 (20% on Amazon).

The intelligent Gradator Lutron Diva is our favorite product in its category.
Michael Brown / Foundry
If you find it too busy or in the form of a geek, consider the new Gradator of Lutron Intelligent Diva. He has a paddle design with a vertical cursor on his right side to adjust the brightness of a connected light. Amazon sells it in a kit with a Lutron Hub and Caséta -style remote control for $ 100 (20% discount). You can buy a Pico Paddle remote control which echoes the design of the Gradator Diva for $ 24.95 (there was no reduction on this product to date).
For a cheaper alternative, look again TP-Link and his Smart Kasa family. Amazon sells the Kasa Smart Wi-Fi gradator, which works on Wi-Fi and supports Apple Homekit, for only 20 to 29% reduction on the PDSF. Unlike Lutron, however, TP-Link does not offer remote controls-from its mobile application, that is to say.
Wemo interior intelligent caps
- Wemo Mini Smart Plug (WSP070 model)
- Wemo mini plugin switch (model F7C063)
- Wemo Mini Smart Plug (WSP080 model)
There is a lot choice in smart traffic jams, our long -standing favorite being 2ND-Gen Leviton Decora Smart Wi-Fi Plug-in Switch (D215P model), which supports the material on Wi-Fi. Amazon sells it for $ 23, but it is not on sale for Prime Day.
But if you want to stay in the Lutron ecosystem according to the products we recommended above, opt for the smart take Casété Dimming. Admittedly, it is expensive at $ 50, and Amazon did not put it on sale for Prime Day. In addition, since it is a gradator, you can only use it with lamps, not small devices such as a radiator or a fan.

Tapo P125M of TP-Link is inexpensive, very small and compatible.
Christopher Null / Foundry
If you need to control a small device with an intelligent socket, consider the Leviton product, or-if you have decided to go with the TP-Link –cuy family, tapo P125m ($ 19 for a 4-pack, 62% on Amazon), Tapo P110M ($ 34 for a 4-pack, 32% on Amazon), Tapo P100M (19 $ for a 3fle. Smart KP125M (which also has a energy consumption monitoring function, ($ 37 for a 4 -pack discount, 33% on Amazon). Each of these devices is compatible.
Note that the Wemo Cloud service will have no impact on the Smart Wemo socket with thread (WSP100 model).
Wemo Outdooor Pulle (WSP090 model)
Lutron do Have an external intelligent grip that can manage things like pumps, fans and other types of small engines, as well as outdoor lighting. It is over -designed and very expensive compared to competition – $ 84.62 on Amazon, and it is not on sale for Prime Day – but it can do things that most competitors cannot, like the response to the movement detected not only by the own Lutron sensors, but by an annular camera or a video bell. You can also turn it on and turn it off using one of the Pico de Lutron remote controls.
Conclusion: The Lutron Caséta -free external intelligent taking is the best product in its class, even if it costs $ 85 on Amazon and is not on sale for Prime Day.

Lutron Casétéss Wireless Outdoor Smart Plug is quite expensive, but it offers certain features that competition does not do.
Michael Brown / Foundry
If you want to stay in the Smart / Tapo Kasa TP -Link ecosystem – or if you are just looking to spend much less – Tapo Smart Wi -Fi outdoor socket (P400M model) East On sale for Prime Day for only $ 17. If you want an intelligent outdoor gradation, the Wi-Fi Smart Kasa outdoor gradation (KP405 model) is one of the few that offers this capacity, and it is on sale on Amazon for only $ 16.
Finally, if you want a less expensive alternative to Lutron’s offer which also has a physical remote control, consider the outdoor plug-in switch of Leviton Decora Smart (model D215o) ($ 43 on the first day, 15% reduction) and add up to three wall switching companions of Leviton).
The leviton’s intelligent outdoor switch has an on -board light sensor that can turn on the apparatus at sunset and extinguished at sunrise without the need to program it to operate according to a calendar. The remote control operates on a CR2025 battery which, according to Leviton, is expected to last five years.
Note that the stop of the Wemo Cloud service will have no impact on the Smart Wemo socket with thread (WDC010 Model).
