“Hezbollah, which dragged you into this war in the service of the Iranian agenda, is deliberately operating in your neighborhoods, putting your security at risk,” Adraee told Lebanese civilians.
The Israeli army ordered the evacuation of the southern Lebanese city of Tire after identifying Hezbollah operatives firing heavy rocket fire from residential neighborhoods, the army’s Arab spokesman, Colonel (reserve) Avichay Adraee, said on Wednesday.
Adraee, accusing the Iran-backed group of using civilians as human shields, said Hezbollah fired around 120 rockets from the outskirts of Tyre’s neighborhoods, “disregarding the safety of civilians and turning houses into launch sites.”
The spokesperson said his evacuation order, which preceded Israeli airstrikes on terrorist infrastructure in the region, was issued to prioritize the safety of civilians.
“Hezbollah, which dragged you into this war in the service of the Iranian agenda, is deliberately operating in your neighborhoods, endangering your security and destroying your homes and communities,” Adraee wrote on X/Twitter, calling on Lebanese civilians.

Adraee: Tire is ‘a clear example of Hezbollah’s method of exploiting civilian environments’
Adraee continued, saying that Tire “is a clear example revealing Hezbollah’s method of exploiting civilian environments and sacrificing the lives and futures of the Lebanese to serve the interests of the Tehran regime.”
The announcement comes after the military issued evacuation orders in the city last week.
At the time, the IDF said it subsequently struck “operational results that were deliberately integrated within the civilian population.”
A week earlier, the Israeli army confirmed that it had struck a Hezbollah command center in Tyre.

No soldiers were killed by the rocket fire and the Israeli Air Force killed the terrorists, the army confirmed.
The army also targeted terrorists who fired an anti-tank missile at soldiers during the night, carrying out a retaliatory strike, killing the terrorists involved.
An IDF combat officer was lightly injured in the incident and was evacuated to a hospital for treatment, the army said.
IDF strikes Dahiyeh command center and gas stations fund Hezbollah
Overnight, the army also struck a series of Hezbollah terrorist targets and infrastructure across Lebanon, including a command center in the Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh.
Other targets included several gas stations belonging to the Hezbollah-controlled al-Amana company, which the military says is a key part of the terrorist group’s financial infrastructure.
Hezbollah leader rejects negotiations with Israel under fire, vows fighters will continue ‘without limits’
Additionally, Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem said in a televised speech read on his behalf on Wednesday that negotiating with Israel under fire amounted to imposed capitulation and called for unity against Israel.
The speech, broadcast on a Hezbollah-affiliated television channel, said Hezbollah fighters were ready to continue “without limits.”
