Horrifying. Career Felon Murders Young Woman on Video and Mayor Blames ‘Homelessness and Mental Illness’ – RedState

The murder of the 23 -year -old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte, in North Carolina, on the night of August 22. Zarutska had just released the quarter -work quarter in Zepeddie’s pizzeria. She went on the light wagon for her journey to the house. The car was almost empty, Zarutska sat on the bench closest to the door and started using his smartphone. Behind her, DeCarlos Brown, 34, a violent criminal who had surfed the criminal system for at least 2007. He had been arrested about fourteen times and had managed to manage with a single five -year sentence for armed robbery in 2014.
Without an interaction which takes place between Zarutska and Brown, after riding together for four minutes, Brown fired a knife, was held above it and stabbed it several times in the neck. My colleague’s sister Teldjah posted on the story when it happened: a Jordan Neely type situation is set up in Charlotte’s transit system, but the mayor is there for lunch – Redstate.
Do not watch this video if you are delicate. This is not to shock, even if it will; This is here to show you how dangerous you are in any American city governed by progressives.

The mayor of Charlotte published a declaration four days after the murder of Zarutska in which she could not say the name of the victim but acted as an excuse-o-matic for the murderer.
In a statement on Tuesday, Lyles did not mention the victim by name or discussed specific measures that the transit system of the Charlotte region or the police take to resolve security in public transport. She focused on the suspect and urged others not to demonize the homeless.
Lyles said the suspect seemed to have struggled with mental health and suffered a crisis. She said that Charlotte and her public transport system are “overall”, but the incident highlights the need for stronger support systems.
“We will never stop our way to get out of problems such as homelessness and mental health,” said Lyles. “Mental health diseases are just that – a disease like any other which must be treated with the same compassion, diligence and commitment as cancer or heart disease.”
Lyles added that people living on the street are more often the victims of crime than the authors and said that it was determined to work with county officials, health care providers and community leaders to improve services.
In fact, she is wrong. Just as you can kill your way out of a war, if you have courage and determination, you can stop getting out of “homelessness and mental health”, it means a random street crime, if you wish. Most importantly, it is deaf to the point of offensiveness. Given the policy of the mayor Lyles, we can help to believe that “intersectionality” is at the root. Zarutska did not matter because she was young, white and employed. Brown, on the other hand, deserves a break because it is black and held by humans.
Lyles published another message on Saturday. The latter condemns, in a backhand, the media which played the security band in transit.
“The video of the heartbreaking attack that took the life of Iyna Zarutska is now public. I would like to thank our media partners and our members of the community who have chosen not to republish or share the images out of respect for Iryna’s family.
It was an insane and tragic loss. My prayers stay with his loved ones as they continue to cry an unimaginable moment.
Like many of you, my heart is broken – and I thought about what security really looks like in our city. I remain determined to do our best to protect our residents and make sure that Charlotte is a place where everyone feels safe. “”
If Lyles gave a tear of public security, the first thing she should do is to ensure that career criminals, like Brown, do not get the deposit, or even worse, are released without surety as it happened in this case.
The fact here is that Brown is no longer to blame that the prosecutors and judges who taught him that the criminal justice system is a joke, and politicians who excuse evil under the cover of compassion for homelessness and mental illness. If Brown was mentally ill, and not just bad and stupid, to the point that he believed that people were doing well, he had to be incarcerated. The death of Iryna Zarutska was a tragedy for his family and friends, but it was the logical and predictable result of the public policy adopted by the county of Mecklenburg, in North Carolina.
