Transcript: Even Fox News Now Admits Kash Patel Is a Fiasco for Trump

Sargent: Let me ask you, Asha. Would that force the Attorney General Bondi to suspend a lot of internal guidelines? And is that the thing we should watch? In other words, if we see Pam Bondi suspend the directives, then we will know, here, isn’t it?
Rangappa: Well, even if she suspended the directives, I don’t see how we would know it. It is an interim thing. I don’t think they announce it. We might get leaks. Or you just have people who violate them, and there are no repercussions because, you know, they are not reprimanded or internal investigations. I think that would be a good question, in fact, for the judicial committee of the Senate to ask Kash Patel during the hearing – on the question of whether the directives of the Attorney General are still applied, if they are still in force and if they are still applied. I mean, it could be a way to bring out this in the open air.
You know, it seems to me that the directives are more or less out of the window just from the types of cases we have seen. And in addition to guidelines – simply based on, for example, assuming the decrees which, for example, Trump published Chris Krebs or Miles Taylor. These are completely unpredictable allegations, right? These are betrayal allegations or something else. I mean, they are not actually based. If the office is actually investigating, I think I am proof of ipso facto or prima facie that they do not use the directives. And then I think we also see that other railings are not followed either.
