The 55-inch model is currently on sale for $690 on Amazon, which is $110 off the usual price, with discounts also available on the 65-inch and 75-inch versions.
Just because it’s made by a streaming company doesn’t mean they’re saving money. This QLED-powered mini-LED panel handles dark colors and shadows gracefully, without haloing or distortion like you might find on other QLED displays at lower prices. It also handles video games well, with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a variable refresh rate (VRR) to keep everything locked when the action starts and your frame rate drops, and a low latency mode for faster response times. There are only two HDMI 2.1 ports, the other two being 2.0 only, but that’s pretty common for all but the most expensive TVs.
Of course, since it’s a Roku TV, you can expect all of Roku’s latest and greatest features without having to plug in any additional boxes or dongles. This includes hands-free voice commands to help you find your favorite shows without lifting a finger, and a handy button on the screen that beeps in case you lose it between the sofa cushions. The interface is snappy and easy to explore, so nothing will come between you and movie night.
If the Roku Pro series seems like an attractive option, Amazon has the 55-inch model marked down to $690 and the massive 75-inch model marked down from $1,700 to just $1,198. The 65-inch model is sold out on Amazon as I write this, so if you want the 65-inch version, Best Buy has it for $900, a price reduction of $300.
