Cincinnati – Now that the dishes have seen their three beginners of beginners in the major league matches, it has become clear that the team must go ahead of the rest of the month with the trio in rotation. Currently, the rotation is decided series by series, which is unlikely to change this month while the dishes are trying to maintain their place in qualifying series in the National League and jostle for positioning.

But the right -hander Tylor Megill is almost ready to come back, Kodai Senga should appear again before the playoffs and the three veterans of the rotation, the left -handers Sean Manaea and David Peterson, and the right -hander Clay Holmes, all now have a competition with the success of the right -handed recruit Nolan McLean, Jonah Tong and Brandon Sproat.

“Listen, it’s encouraging, but we need the other guys to intensify,” said manager Carlos Mendoza on Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati after the food dropped 3-2 against the Reds. “We need everyone here, not only the youngest. We are counting on Sean Manaea, we count on Clay, Holmes and Peterson and everyone in the rotation. It is therefore good to see these children coming here and giving us a chance to win a baseball game, but we will also need it.”

Despite the loss, the beginnings of SProat MLB were as impressive as that of McLean and Tong. He sometimes fought against his own control with four goals on balls, but he also did not touch the Reds in 5 1/3 sleeves. After launching four fast bullets outside the area to walk the head striker Tj Friedl, SProat realized that he had to start mixing his throws. He launched a lead, a sweeper and a cursor in the second striker, Noelvi Marte, inducing a double game.

“Four steps, not ideal,” said Sproat. “But I knew how to get out, [I had to] Continue to the strikers, mix and associate throws, speed them up, slow them down and just try to get a ball on the ground. This is what I was able to do.

He did not have his best things, but he was still able to give the six -round dishes, more than the veterans have been able to give in recent months.

SPROAT, who will be 25 years later this month, managed his emotions well. Following the advice of the veteran Brandon Nimmo voltiseur, SProat took a second on the mound before shooting his first warm -up field to take a look around the stadium and let him sink into what he had finally reached the big leagues. A group of family and friends behind the visitor’s canoe was so strong that they were probably heard on the other side of the river in Kentucky.

“There was one point in the sixth when I heard my mother. I know that voice from anywhere,” he said. “Super blessed so that they can get there. They have been my backbone since day 1.”

A night before, Tong was challenged. He abandoned three circuits at home at his second start of MLB, one more than he had abandoned in the minor leagues all season. His behavior after the loss showed how much the 22 -year -old does not like to lose.

Tong seemed to learn the same lesson as Sprroat did on the fact of launching too many fast balls at the start of the outing. Although its quick ball is unique with its angle of arms at the top and the climb, Tong was much more effective after starting to launch its curve and its change more often. This helped him cross six rounds.

McLean only made a short start in four tests, launching 5 1/3 during his beginnings against the Seattle Navy. The dishes could have left him in the game longer, but wanted to offer a certain level of protection in his first game.

Based on three recruits is not a security plan, but relying on a rotation of veterans has certainly not been safe for the food this season. Megill experienced two difficult rehabilitation departures with Triple-A Syracuse, granting three points deserved on six strokes in just four rounds on Sunday in the last. Manaea will start on Tuesday, but the dishes do not seem ready to keep it in rotation.

A place in playoffs is not a guarantee. The Giants of San Francisco only have 3.5 games from a joker point behind the food, and the Reds are tied with the matches of Arizona Diamondbacks 4.0. The best hope for the playoffs is to set up recruits.

Alister moves

The right -hander Reed Garrett was activated from the injured list on Sunday before the final of the series in Cincinnati. The right-handers Wander Suero and Kevin Herget were opposed to Triple-A Syracuse to make room for the SPROAT on the list, and the right-hander Justin Garza was appointed for assignment.
