Job security fears are becoming a defining feature of today’s workplace, fueled by accelerated AI implementation, repeated layoffs and continued uncertainty. Pew Research shows that American workers are more worried than hopeful about AI in the workplace, and the American Psychological Association’s 2025 Work in America survey reports that job insecurity significantly increases the stress levels of more than 54% of American workers.
