For years, scientists have puzzled over the elusive day-to-night look, but Lily Collins may have just solved that particular mystery, at least for travelers. After all, when you’re speeding through time zones, day is night, isn’t it? So it makes a certain kind of sartorial sense to just make your pajamas your clothes, as Collins did by dressing up silky lingerie for an outing aboard a train on the Emily in Paris press tour (the cast has been riding from Venice to Paris ahead of the premiere).
“Bonjour! This is your captain, Lily Collins, speaking. We are just a few moments away from arriving in Paris. So grab your bags, your berets, and maybe your best selfie face? Welcome to Paris everyone, and see you tomorrow at the premiere, I am sooo excited! Mwah,” she said over the loudspeaker as the train pulled into the station, as captured by a video you can watch here. It’ll also give you a better look at her outfit: a peach pink onesie by YSL worn with sheer black tights and a large brown coat. Although, don’t trains have conductors, not captains?
