Starmer will hand Britain over to Farage, says Green party leader Zack Polanski | Green party

The Greens come directly to challenge plowing, the new party leader, Zack Polanski, said at his conference, saying that as things were standing, Keir Starmer “would put this country back on a plate” to reform the United Kingdom.

Addressing an event crowded in Bournemouth, Polanski condemned what he called the “managed decline” of plowing and the sping of reform policies in fields such as migration.

Polanski, who is Jewish and grew up in Manchester, expressed his horror attacking a synagogue in the city on Thursday and made a strong defense of migration.

“It is a celebration that is not afraid to say that migration has helped to make this country what we are today. And it is also made of this party,” Polanski, who changed his surname from Paulden at Polanski at the age of 18, told the anglicization adopted when they arrived from Eastern Europe.

Polanski, who won the elections to lead the party in England and Wales last month, quoted its history and those of assistant party leaders, Mothin Ali and Rachel Millward.

“I am one of the five Jews to lead a British political party over the past 100 years,” he said. “And that also means that I want to spend a moment to mark the terrible attack yesterday. As a high Jew in the north of Manchester – I feel it deeply and my heart is with the community.

“More broadly, I am the product of migration. This is why the defense of migrants counts as much towards me. It is a common Jewish experience – a story as old as time. ”

His ancestors, who have moved to England from Latvia via Ukraine and Poland, have always been confronted with anti -Semitism in the United Kingdom, he said: “They changed their name to appear more English – and I changed it, knowing that the real pride has just hidden who you are.”

His deputies, Polanski continued, were Ali, the son of a metallant whose parents came to the United Kingdom from what is now Bangladesh in the 1960s, and Milloward, who “has family roots attached to England as far as she knows”.

He said: “One spoke of Jew. One raised a Muslim. One of a child in the Church. Leadership with three different stories, in a country enriched by people from all over the world.”

The green membership that has increased quickly since the victory of Polanski and climb to more than 80,000 for the first time, he told the event that it was time for the party to be ambitious.

“Everything we do by the next election must be bold,” he said. “We have a vision of this place we call here. Audacity means connecting with the difficulty right now for so many people. It means listening, not just pointing the finger.

“On each occasion, from the door to the television studio, our message is that the green party will make your bills fall, will reduce the cost of living and protect our NHS.”

In a series of attacks against the government, Polanski said he had no apparent response to the problems created by austerity and inequalities.

“Its policy is one of the declines managed disguised as a national and draped renewal of the development of reform policies,” he said. “More than the same thing from Keir Starmer will not be missing only now, he will put this country back on a plate with dark forces around Nigel Farage.”

Polanski particularly targeted Starmer, he said, trying to copy the reform, including on migration and asylum,

“When Farage says Sauter, the work could say:” What is the height? “” He said. “But the Greens will not dance on the air of a corporate stoog that likes taxes, exhausting taxes, the NHS, we will say it hard, and we will say it clearly: migrants and refugees are welcome here.”

The arrival of Polanski, warned of the media, which won 85% of the vote of members against a joint offer from two of the party deputies, Adrian Ramsay and Ellie Chowns, attracted new members of the Greens and more attention, with more journalists who attend the meeting in Bournemouth than the previous conferences of the party.

Polanski said the time had come for the party to take the fight at work. “This is why labor advisers defection. This is why members of the work join. This is why thousands and thousands of voters fighting against plowing say enough and put a cross next to the Green Party for the first time.
