Customs and Border Patrol Nabs Senior Leader for Leaking Intel – RedState
U.S. Customs and Border Protection already seems to have enough problems, between Democratic leaders constantly calling for violence against law enforcement and enraged protesters assailing every action the Department of Homeland Security takes to enforce the nation’s immigration laws.
But it turns out they have another problem to solve: a leak.
The Department of Homeland Security fired a top Customs and Border Protection official Thursday after it was revealed the officer allegedly leaked sensitive personal information about CBP personnel, as well as border wall negotiations, to the press, sources within the department told Fox News Digital.
The official, who was not named, was removed from his CBP office in Washington, DC, after DHS discovered the leak, sources said.
Federal law enforcement has been attacked by crazed leftists before, but it’s infuriating that someone would feed them inside information, thereby aiding the agitators in their quest for violence:
“As DHS law enforcement agencies face an 8,000 percent increase in death threats, leaking sensitive information from law enforcement is terribly dangerous,” a DHS spokesperson told Fox News Digital. “DHS is independent of your position, tenure, political appointment or status as a career civil servant – we will track down fugitives and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.”
DHS Senior Advisor Corey Lewandowski posted on X that all fugitives should be wary because the department is coming for them:

As we have reported, DHS agents in various branches like ICE and CBP have been harassed with threats, intimidation tactics, doxing and more, as left-wing leaders have turned the rhetoric up to 11 and are doing everything in their power to thwart Trump’s efforts to undo the damage caused by former President Joe Biden’s “leave the door wide open” immigration policy. Democrats often like to say that “we are a nation of laws” and that “no one is above the law,” but when it comes to illegal immigrants, they view them as being way above the law.
They can’t even call them what they are, for Pete’s sake.

Democrats are determined to further neutralize DHS, demanding during budget negotiations that agents put their last name, ID and branch of service on their uniforms and keep their faces uncovered. As I asked in a previous story, will they also ask them to post their home address and their children’s names? And where is the part of their negotiations where they demand that Antifa take off their omnipresent black masks?
This is another worrying development from the deep state and proves that there are still active cells within the government trying to undermine the president’s agenda. It is unclear what the consequences of this slippery leak will be, but we can hope that they will be considerable.
