HP OmniBook X Flip 14 Review: Flip Flop

Convertible laptops continue To gain popularity, probably due to the exceptional flexibility they offer to people who wish to change their use, transforming among the traditional forms of entertainment devices, tablet and tappable entertainment devices. The last device to enter this melee is Omnibook X Flip from HP, available in 16 inch and 14 inch versions, the latter was what I was sent to revise.
Its poor battery life and clumsy design, however, are not among the best 2 -in -1 laptops that I tested, even if the price is quite attractive.
Dubious choice

At first glance, it is a commonplace, completely dressed in silver aluminum, interrupted only by an HP brand dispersed on the cover. But look more closely and you will soon see elements of design that could raise a eyebrow.
It starts, curiously, with the underside of the laptop, which looks like an inclined pedestal on which the keyboard rests. It also makes the laptop thicker than it is, although 19 mm (0.75 inches) thick, it is in fact a means of the 14 inch category. (The weight of 3.1 pounds, however, is relatively heavy, and he feels like such in the hand.)
The other large twist is the keyboard. Rather than presenting the omnipresent island style keys today, the Omnibook X Flip has its keys flowing together, with just a space ribbon between each of them. This makes each key a little larger than normal, and although it may seem useful, I found it for a slightly more difficult tactile experience because I accidentally strike two keys at a time more often than expected. He also also looks bizarre, a retro appearance of infallible love who-hete or hate that distinctly reminded me of certain computers of the 1980s.
A bad artist

HP Exchange Intel for AMD on 14 -inch OMNIBook X Flip X (although the 16 -inch model uses Intel processors), and the model examined is one of the high -end configurations available, including a CPU AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 with AMD Radeon 860m, 32 GB of RAM and a SSD with 1 terabbyte.
