Hundreds of GPs tell BBC they have never refused a sick note over mental health concerns

Last year, a government-commissioned report into the role of employers in health and disability said suitability ratings were “often problematic”. The Keep Britain Working study noted that GPs often did not have the time, or training in occupational health, to fully assess whether a person was capable of working or not.
