Readers sound off on targeting anti-fascists, airport security lines and tariff math

Antifa is not a threat, but the designation of Trump is
Brick, NJ: The fundamental reason why President Trump insisted on officially appointing an anti-fed a domestic terrorist organization is to spread a letter like this. Like so many other of his words and actions, the president is very busy suffocating freedom of expression and a free press in his kingdom! He could soon prohibit freedom of thought!
Antifa is an abbreviated form of “anti -fascist”. The Trump administration acts exactly like the fascist regimes of Spain, Italy and Germany acted about a century ago. In each case, these diets were carried out and adjusted absolutely by a dictator. With each decree, Trump demonstrates his fascism (thanks to the majority of the Supreme Court of Quislings granting him immunity for the crimes committed during his mandate).
This recent development will crush any dissent against fascism. As part of this Legerdainmain Abracadabra, this letter is immediately attacked as the propaganda of a domestic terrorist organization. Its consideration by a publisher is also integrated into a conspiracy against the president, and the publication invites the extrajudicial closure of the newspaper by the government!
In the so-called America of today, think, compose or publish all the letters of dissent mentioning the word “fascist” or “fascism” constitutes terrorist activities of domestic terrorists. Citizens and newspapers expecting that the Declaration of Rights means anything in this Trump time will be rather targeted as terrorists! The only terrorist organization of this particular situation is the president with his crowd of non -American executors! Nicholas S. Molinari
It is in its own way
Howard Beach: in Voice Frank Feeley: Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. The Orange criminal likes to minimize people by calling them absurd names. Listen to its UN address, which was embarrassing. He has been a fair game since he started fire to start. James Biscielo
Don’t expect much
Hyde Park, NY: I read with the letter of the voice of the Tom Rozinski voice interested. Although I was mainly agree, I would like to have added more context. I am on board with the declaration of Erika Kirk: “The response to hatred is not hatred.” Who wouldn’t be? The problem is immediately after that, our president said, “I hate my opponent.” The most expensive Tom, this is where the collage point resides: no matter how much Mrs. Kirk can be noble or sincere, she will never be nothing for the president but another chip to throw on the table when the dealer gives him the signal. I wish you good luck in your search for heroes, and can I recommend a man known as Jesus Christ? Mike Fenwick
Petulant policy
Manhattan: Here we are again. Very soon, the country will “lack money” unless a new budget is set up. I find it incredible that the American people must go through this embezzlement over and over again. Why is it still coming back on people’s backs? I continue to wait for a sensible policy that will solve these little political games – something that brings together the needs of the people and politicians. I am looking for someone, a leader, to start putting things in place. Alas, it seems that leadership is smoke in the wind. The leader of my White House seems unable to lead, refuses to speak with anyone who opposes him and suggests that a solution sensible to a budgetary crisis could be to dismiss federal employees. Don Cerrone
Fickle & Feckless
Howard Beach: In a complete reversal of his reflection on the Russian / Ukraine War, Trump now says that NATO countries should shoot down Russian planes that enter their airspace, and that with European support, Ukraine can recover all its land. With Trump, you never know how long he will occupy these positions. Ukraine should not yet be too optimistic. Barbara Berg
Thugs leaders
Swarthorus, Pennsylvania: The Israeli army has launched a new Gaza City ground offensive, degenerating its war against Hamas while Trump’s efforts to end the conflict failed. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that a “powerful operation” was underway in the Palestinian enclave, saying that his country was at a “crucial stage” of war. This news comes after Trump said earlier this month: “We will have an agreement on Gaza very soon.” Netanyahu’s challenge to Trump can be added to that of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who spit in the face of Trump. Rather than a ceasefire, Putin used a major escalation. You could well say that with friends like these two, who needs enemies? The question is: how long will he tolerate him, and when and how will he answer? After all, it is not a way to treat the “sovereign of the world” avoided. Ken derow
Bad ideas
Saratoga Springs, NY: I refuse to take medical advice from a television pitchman, a condemned criminal and a former drug addict who had a worm in his brain. English bob
Abandoned justice
Bronx: The completely unlikely indictment of the former director of the FBI James Comey – and we know that it is without merit because the federal career prosecutors have repeatedly warned the MJ that his file against Comey has no merit – is just the last of the terrifying, horrible and rapid descent of our democracy in that where the law regime was framework. Senator Adam Schiff of California said on several occasions that all the terrible actions that this administration had taken would be reversed if only a small number of republican senators and representatives would join the Democrats to put an end to this very real destruction of our democracy. None of the members of the GOP in the Congress cares about the type of country in which their children and grandchildren will live if we do not stop the president and his servants to continue on their destructive path? Miriam Levine Helbok
S Parasolaire arrests
Staten Island: does Brad Lander not have a job? However, as the city’s controller, he attended several demonstrations and was arrested for having obstructed the police. Most of the time, it is for questions of which he has no competence and is during opening hours. Who allows this and who takes care of the store during his absence? Brian O’Leary
Is it ready?
Manhattan: re “Welcome to New Jax City” (column, September 24): the quarters are like the chest, you must wait patiently until they are ready. I hope the G-Men starts the Jaxson Dart recruit because they feel that it is far in its development and not simply yielding to the popular opinion of giant fanatics. What happened to the coach’s line on “no sense of emergency”? Adam Silbert
Question the queue
Raleigh, NC: The queues of the ASA airline require a lot of walking throughout the line for each ticket passenger. Why not just use straight lines that have the same length? Once the first queue is complete, start the new line. The lines would be in order and would not require the enormous amount of walking that the currents do. A TSA employee could manage them by opening and closing the doors of the queue in the order of which they are necessary. It would be more sensitive and would relieve all the walking. Wouldn’t not all passengers appreciate this more current method? Joseph John Rothengast
Price lesson
Manhattan: If an importer bought items from another country without a price that cost $ 50, Keystone markup would sell him $ 100. After a sales tax in New York, it would cost a little less than $ 109. With a price of 30%, this article costs him $ 65. Keystone markup would sell it for $ 130, and with the sales tax, a total of around $ 142 – $ 23 more. Those who think that the importer should only mark by the additional $ 15 he pays do not understand that prices are increasing, inflation, and the things he has to buy for his business has now cost him (probably due to prices) and his employees want the increases to follow time. Where would it get this necessary money? As the Republican Congress Majjeurity has repealed its responsibility for being the only one of the tariffs, this means (double) taxation without representation. Manny Greitzer
Tax the rich
Providence, RI: re “billionaires could soon be confronted with more taxation time” (OP-ED, September 25): tax gourmet billionaires / make them pay their appropriate actions / rather than enrich their heirs / It is our country, not only theirs. Felicia Nimue Ackerman
