Immigration and customs application applauded the mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, after suggesting that the federal immigration authorities “go home”.

“We would like the ice raids to stop. We would like the range of federal officials or civilians disguised in federal officials to return home,” she said at a press conference Tuesday in response to the pursuit of the Ministry of Justice against the policies of the city’s sanctuary.

When asked if there could be an agreement between ice and the Ministry of Internal Security, she doubled.

“I do not know if there is an agreement to conclude. As I told you, the agreement which must be concluded is for them to return home,” said the Democrat.

The ice has responded directly, noting that they will continue their operations in the city and in the region.

“The ice is not going anywhere and will continue to do what mayor Bass failed to do – protect the citizens of Los Angeles. If she wants to distance federal police, I am sure there is a next diplomatic trip to Ghana,” said Emily Covington, assistant director, ICE public affairs office, in a press release in Fox News.

She returned from the trip while fires were torn apart in the city of Los Angeles, which destroyed important parts of the Pacific Palisades beach community.

The National Weather Service warned against the risk of fire before going on a trip, and the Los Angeles Times reported that its staff were aware that fires were possible. Bass then expressed regret during the trip, saying it was a mistake to travel at the time.

“This is absolutely the case, and I think I must demonstrate that every day showing what we do, what works, what are the challenges,” Bass said in an interview with NBC Los Angeles in February.

The mayor reintegrated the national spotlights in June while anti-glossy demonstrations and riots broke out in the city, as part of the news that the agency made illegal immigration scannings in the region. President Donald Trump then deployed the National Guard, which led to a legal challenge by Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom. Bass said that Ice and the National Guard served as instigators for civil disturbances, which she condemned violent elements while encouraging peaceful demonstrations.

“Last Thursday, Ice entered our city and provoked the city by continuing people through home deposits and car washer and presenting themselves in schools and, today, presenting themselves in emergency rooms and homeless shelters,” said Bass last month.

“The ice intervened as a pretext to federalize the National Guard, then, at the White House, the National Guard was complimented for the work they have done to maintain peace in the city on Saturday evening. But I will tell you, the goalkeeper did not even arrive here on Sunday. They used it as a pretext to send the American navies to an American city, which will target our own citizens,” she added.
