If Charlie Ran for Office, ‘Top Priority’ Was Reviving Families
The wife of the founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, Erika, said that “her husband’s absolute priority would be to relaunch the American family” if he presented himself at the office.
Erika Kirk made this remark during her first public speech since her 31 -year -old husband was murdered during the first judgment of his “American tour” at the University of Utah Valley on Wednesday. Erika, who has two young children with Kirk, explained how her family’s vision and her husband’s marriage came from her faith in Jesus Christ.
“Above all, Charlie loved his children and he loved me with all his heart, and I knew it every day. I knew it. He made sure. I knew it every day. Every day, he asked me: “How can I serve you better?” “How can I be a better husband?” “How can I be a better father every day, every day. He was such a good man.
“Charlie has always believed that God’s design for family marriage was absolutely incredible. And it is. And it was the greatest joy in her life, ”she continued. “On the past, he told all these young people to come and find their future spouse, to become wives, husbands and parents. And the reason is because he wanted you to feel all he had and always. He wanted everyone to bring heaven to this earth by love and the joy that comes from the education of a family. It’s beautiful.”
She referred to remarks of many members of the referring conservative movement that Charlie Kirk could have been president one day, saying to those who looked at that the family would have been his number one number if it was elected to a political position.
“Charlie has always said that if he presented himself to his duties – I know that many of you have asked if he would never do it – but in private, he told me if he presented himself to his functions, that his absolute priority would be to relaunch the American family. It was his priority,” she said.
“One of Charlie’s favorite biblical verses was Ephesians 5:25. “My husband put his life for me, for our nation, for our children. He showed the ultimate and real love of the alliance. ”
