Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Salvadoral illegal who captured the heart of the Democratic Party this year after being sent by the Trump administration in the infamous Cecot prison of his country, was released on Friday in Tennessee and would have made its way to Maryland. After being returned to the United States at the request of the American district judge Paula Xinis, Abrego Garcia was imprisoned for human trafficking.

According to reports, the alleged member of the Gang MS-13 has now 48 hours to return to Maryland. Meanwhile, his legal team takes a victory tour.
“Today, Kilmar Abrego Garcia is free,” his lawyer, Sean Hecker, told Wusa9. “He is currently on his way to his family in Maryland, after having been arrested and expelled illegally, then imprisoned, all due to the government’s vindictive attack against a man who had the courage to fight against the continuous assault of the administration against the rule of law. It is recognizing that his access to the American courts has provided a significant regular procedure.”
